I was on 5 days trip to Tucson, Arizona. There is a month long 2019 Tucson Gem Show , the biggest gem show in the world, happening in there, and I caught up with a lady who enlightened me the delight of quartz, minerals and fossils, and the other lady who we called her ‘wise woman’ of aroma oils for therapy. 🙂
I first flew to Houston and then flew to Tucson. 15 and half hours of flight to Houston was plenty time to do watching movies and reading a book (and of course catching up some sleep!).
The itinerary of this trip was ultra short (at least for me), I spent almost 24 hours one way including layover time, and I stayed just 2 and half days in Tucson and flew back to Sydney with almost same lengthy time for way back. It certainly may look like crazy or waste of money.
However, to me, it was worth to do as it was really special, awesome, concentrated, intense, great time I had in taking a look all day long at rocks, crystals and fossils gathered from the world. 🙂
I was a bit too excited during the trip and did not take a lot of photos honestly.. still I would like to share some of which I caught, in some posts..
