End of summer

Boo!

The first bloom of the year.  This orchid soon will have got its second year at my place.  It carried along with a friend of mine last year who runs restaurant at a region of 3.5 hours away from Sydney and visited me for my birthday.  Glad it seems be happy to be at my place.

Singing in the winter lights

They were all photographed at Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney.

Here we are still in winter, and at the day, the morning breeze was still cold.

However, sunlight was bright and sky was clearer and bluer.  Flowers I trained lenses were rustling lightly, as if they were humming or singing in the sunshine.

They didn’t stay still but bounced all the time along with breeze came through.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Growth

This is throw back to sometime winter last year.

I came in Blue Mountain national park in an early morning.  Weather was not ideal, it was foggy, misty, and cold.  As we continued our foot to further down to photograph waterfalls, I noticed this wild flower.  They grew out of cracks of rock wall and bloomed with beautiful pink petals.

The scene is still striking to me and, despite there are other photos in stock which may suit the theme ‘Growth‘ better, I still have picked up this image.  😉

You are my companion today.

Thank you Jakaranda for coming another week full bloomed.

A morning tea party by wild flowers

That morning, I was at the coastal walk between Bondi beach and Tamarama beach, where is venue for open-air art exhibition; ‘Sculpture by the Sea’.

At a corner of the path, these beautiful flowers and plants drew my attention.  They even looked like gathering there to have morning group chats as bathing morning sun.  I felt good strong energy from them.  I hope you will find it from the photo too.

Anyway, thank you for stopping by.

Jakaranda, Jakaranda, oh Jakaranda! –

Jakaranda is fully bloomed in Sydney.  I’d say, it must be one of the best seasons now.  Since my home country Japan has similar symbolic SAKURA Cherry blossom entertain and really remind us of spring is with us.

To me, Jakaranda is somewhat similar in Sydney.

Thank you for stopping by.
