A piece of work of the day 31
Belated post for Christmas as it’s gone for the year, but I would still like to express my sincere thanks to all of your support and connections you have been with me on here.
Wish you all have a safe and pleasant holiday.
Here is my recent work for Seasonal greeting cards.
Christmas flower is lovely to see and draw. I think I will draw it again for next Christmas (and I hope I will draw it lovelier).
クリスマスカード用に描いたポインセチア。
クリスマスを過ぎての投稿ですが、クリスマスの有無に関係なく、お一人おひとりの年末年始が安全で健やかにお迎えできますように、お祈りしています。今年もお世話になりました。
One Word Sunday: Purple
Pale Indigo? Yes, this is pale in hue but is still purple to me. 😉
Jacaranda season is back in Sydney. They turn Sydney and suburbs to beautiful purple, as if that’s their way to celebrate spring season grounded.
Luckily, my bedroom is being a prime spot for appreciation, because there are three Jacaranda trees in front of the unit building where I live.
This is my (belated) contribution to this week’s One Word Sunday: Purple, hosted by TRAVEL WITH INTENT.

Boo!
The first bloom of the year. This orchid soon will have got its second year at my place. It carried along with a friend of mine last year who runs restaurant at a region of 3.5 hours away from Sydney and visited me for my birthday. Glad it seems be happy to be at my place.

Singing in the winter lights
They were all photographed at Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney.
Here we are still in winter, and at the day, the morning breeze was still cold.
However, sunlight was bright and sky was clearer and bluer. Flowers I trained lenses were rustling lightly, as if they were humming or singing in the sunshine.

A piece of work of the day 19
Tried something new.
I am not that satisfactory in quality, but I am proud of myself as to what I have finished away.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Prolific
To me, Azalea is symbolic seasonal plant seeing in spring season.
They are prolific, blooming with gorgeous flowers.
And they always make me in buoyant mood.
Thank you for stooping by.
My first New Zealand 3: Christchurch
So here are a little more photographs I took at Christchurch while hopping on and off the trams. I understood that they have been taking years long restoration process coming through since 2011 quake. Some area were rebuilt while some area were in progress, or left as empty lots, which looked like as if time was stopped on the spot.
What impressed me though was that there were number of murals / street arts presented in Christchurch next to those spaces or gaps. It’s like the city was like art gallery. It looked like as if the arts took the mission thats for filling those empty spaces and gaps by those unique art works, which it could have made people despair if there were’t at all.
Some spots were heartbreaking to see for me, but at the same time, I felt people’s energy and pride via those stuff.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Growth
This is throw back to sometime winter last year.
I came in Blue Mountain national park in an early morning. Weather was not ideal, it was foggy, misty, and cold. As we continued our foot to further down to photograph waterfalls, I noticed this wild flower. They grew out of cracks of rock wall and bloomed with beautiful pink petals.
The scene is still striking to me and, despite there are other photos in stock which may suit the theme ‘Growth‘ better, I still have picked up this image. 😉
