The crystal grid of the period

This grid of rocks was placed in late October and left it unmoved until now.

I like rocks and minerals to collect and I like playing with them too.  I like making spontaneous grid with the stones picked up randomly.
This layout is one of them in which there are a couple of ‘unusuals’.

Unusual 1.  I have some rose quartz but I usually do not my first choice in playing.
However, for some reasons, I had got my head filled fully in rose quarts pink and gathered all rose quartz I have to place on the table.
I probably needed some graceful energy and rose quartz must be the best rocks holding those soft and graceful energy (in my opinion).

Unusual 2.  I generally keep the stone layouts for several days then deform them, but this one left my regular ‘rock spot’ in my lounge space over a month.

What impression do you have at them?

Do they click some sense in you?
Well, I feel the time to deform comes, I will finally start making a fresh layout with fresh mind tomorrow morning.

2019 Tucson Gem Shows

Again, I was a little too excited at the fact that I was there and saw enormous gems, and I hence did not take a lot of photos at the show, but here we go!

A couple of notes, during the period of this show, it’s like entire Tucson became the show ground, many traders booked hotels to use the hotel rooms for exhibiting their rocks and stones.

Or exuberant dealers / sellers have sat their allocated booth in the huge panelized houses, which will take you hours and days to stroll through till the end.

I was very lucky to be there with the two ladies!  The lady on the left on the first photo, named Naoko Fujinami, is my master of crystals and she is the first disciple of JaneAnn Dow, the crystal reader & healer.  And since Naoko has friend networks with miners and dealers, I also have got a opportunity to meet / greet and talk with a few of them out of her friends.

I hope these photos share the joy how I was excited at being surrounded by rocks at the show.  🙂

Pyrite

I met this chunk before Christmas last year, shortly after I drew this.

It is just as good to hold in my hand and it chuckles me my guts.  I can not explain well but this is how I feel.  It’s like this guy talks to my solar plexus.

I feel a bit sorry for this having byname; ‘Fool’s Gold (as it looks like a real gold but has no value as gold) ‘.

Well, I am happy to be the one though because I certainly see the value on this.  🙂

Introducing my rocks

I set a new category on my blog menu, which is ‘quartz & minerals’.  This is one of where I bring my passion to apart from photography and drawing, but had not been introduced / talked about in here.  So here we go.   🙂

I had never got interested in those rocks before, rather I was annoyed when they came to me in the form of gifts or souvenir.  I had not that having a clear idea why I was annoyed with them, and even now I can’t.  I must have felt something intense energy from them, I do not know..

Anyway, I started having more interests into them over a given time, and, ..alas, I have small collection of them by now.  🙂

I hope I will be sharing about them with you time by time. img_1976 (1)
