Hunter Valley

As I touched on my previous post, I made catch up with my friend who visited me in Sydney for the first time in ten years and it’s been six years from our last catch ups.

We talked a lot about us what’s happened after our last catch-ups, and I found that she had had very difficult time to get rid of and had suffered from anxiety and depressions.  She was getting back and she decided to make a visit me and Sydney again as she has lots of good travel memory in here.  I was so glad that she chose here for her refreshment with a touch of rehabilitation.

The photographs below were taken in Hunter Valley winery I went with her.  August is downtime at vineyards, but it’s also a kind of ‘fruit’ time because new products of the year or new batch are being bottled with new labels around this period.  We went to five cellars which included her favorite cellars.  It was great day and we filed another good story in our memory.

Admiralty House Open Day 2018

I arrived at the gate of Admiralty House on last Saturday, only 10 minutes before the official closing time.  The house and garden however were occupied with many people picnicking or strolling he open area in the mansion.  There was a classic Rolls Royce Phantom parked in front of the entrance, introduced as Queen Elizabeth rode when she had visited Sydney.

The open area in the house was limited to half of ground floor, where salon, formal dining room, all where has been used for guests.

Frankly I enjoyed being at lawn and garden much more than the house and furnishing goods.  They were perfect to view Sydney Harbor and Sydney city to eastern suburbs.  I missed taking snapshots of the garden due to no time left, I would like to share some photos of the Harbor and CBD here…

Good Friday picnic at Cremorne Reserve

I recently wrote a post about Cremorne Reserve as my favourite place.

I went there on Good Friday to join a picnic to celebrate friend’s big year birthday.

It was really nice day.  Sydney got summer back on all weekend.  The picnic size were just right for six adults and one girl, and one six months baby.  We made a great catchups with good laugh.

Here I would like to post some photos of the scenes I captured..

It was summery Good Friday at Cremorne Reserve.
Sneak shot of family of my friends.
My favourite family snap of them.
Party boat played loud music, which was big enough to annoy us a bit on the reserve point.
Captured one out of the two cruise ships anchored was on departure.
Sydney ferry got a lot of passengers at Cremorne Wharf and got to return to Circular Quay.

Thank you for stopping by.
