The first bloom of the year. This orchid soon will have got its second year at my place. It carried along with a friend of mine last year who runs restaurant at a region of 3.5 hours away from Sydney and visited me for my birthday. Glad it seems be happy to be at my place.
Hello via fish-eye lens. You guys will adore me with blooming this year again..!
I took a morning stroll in the nearest park from my mother’s house. It was pleasant warm morning that a mild cool and dry breeze stroked my cheeks gently yet you could feel early summer that was being right next to you.
The park has a pond in the center of the premises. It’s being busy with boats and swan boats ‘cruise’ around by visitors during day time.
The one I saw in the morning was incredible, the surface on the pond was sleek smooth as if a mirror installed on the pond. 🙂 Sometimes the mild breeze stroke raised small ripples on the surface of the water. Evert ripples produced different touch on the water and objects of which were reflected on were seen with various effect.
It was the morning making me proud of myself for catching up this beautiful world of fresh green, on the last day with the perfect weather.
This photo was taken a year ago at a park nearby where my parents live in Japan. It was rather a bit early in the morning and was before that the boating services was opened. I liked how the boats and swans that were on the pond in array, because they looked like waiting for the opening time for the service.
It was when cherry blossoms were in full bloom in many areas in Japan, and I enjoyed watching them dyed where I visited in pink.
Monochrome Madness is the community she opens for other photographers and audiences who love monochrome / black and white photos. Here gives me a great opportunity and challenges about monochrome images. As it is open community, everyone can participate.
I haven’t touched any drawing tools after my last pastel workshop held on 17th of December and I just wanted to draw something, just something. 🙂
This was drawn ad-hoc, that I did not have any idea when started drawing. This is the simply how it ended. I seem want to draw something about a cold winter and a warm and bright spring season followed by. Here where I am living at moment is in the middle of summer season but I have friends who are in northern hemisphere too, and many of which are covered with snow at moment. They miss and wish the warm and bright spring season to come already.
Tone of this image is a little plain, but I think I managed to express about winter that is gradually moving away and spring season that is coming to closer to you.
Anyway, my first work of 2018 is done, I feel so good. 🙂
Jakaranda is fully bloomed in Sydney. I’d say, it must be one of the best seasons now. Since my home country Japan has similar symbolic SAKURA Cherry blossom entertain and really remind us of spring is with us.
Here are another batch of photographs I took on a weekend. This day, it was beautiful and delightful weather outside. A large cruise ship parked at Overseas Passenger Terminal and many tourists and locals were enjoying under the bright sunlight. People in the Rocks market were relaxed and in much of joy while strolling among stalls. People and seagulls at Circular Quay look happy in hanging out around. Nice weekend vibe brought me smile into my face in capturing candid shots of them.
I hope you will feel some (or all) of that I got at that time from the photos.
Oh by the way, I am technology retard and I just found that I did not enable Comment section on on my blog! Now it is on. 🙂 So please feel free to leave and share with me.
Usually my photography is landscape (or probably something to call ‘-scape’ whatever it is) so I rarely take portrait.
Just flipping my photos the other day, I found myself taking a bench (or benches) often in the scene of which I photographed. Here are some out of them. I don’t know if there was any implication behind myself when I took them, but I am sure that it was given some role in each scene.
