What is good about winter season for me is that sunrise comes in later in the early morning window.

I like summer because day goes long due to longer hours of sunlight yet bright and warm, but often it is hard for me to get up even earlier to catch the beautiful sky art before the sun pops up.  Well, I generally get up not that late, sometime between 0530 and 0600, but it was not enough early if I want to catch beautiful dawn.

Whereas, winter often describes as miserable season that makes people gloomy due to shorter sunshine hours and coldness (and dark, perhaps).

However, sunrise and window of my morning routine fits much better here in Sydney in winter.

My motivation to morning photography is getting to quiet these days but that sky canvas I saw yesterday pulls my chin up for it once again.  🙂
